This pattern used size 4 knitting needles and a size 3.75 crochet hook.
You can use bigger or smaller needles to cusomize a size.
A super soft cotton yarn was used.
3.5 oz / 100 grams
Finished cuff is 7.25 inches /Simply add more or subtract "Cast On" stitches in order to make this fit your wrist size.
Cast On 42
Knit....(this will produce a seed stitch)
Knitting in seed stitch (knit each row) until you feel the cuff is as wide as you would like it.
Once you have your desired amount of rows start binding off.....
continue until your last stitch is on your knitting needle,
then switch to your crochet hook...
Single Crochet in next st.
Chain 3, skip one stitch, single crochet into next st; across.
Chain 4 at very end and Single Crochet into first knit row.
3 double crochet in each ch 3 sp.
(basically 3 dc in each little loopy space all across)
ch 1c turn
Triple Crochet 4 into next dc
skip 1 stitch, single crochet into next st
skip 1 stitch, 4 triple crochet into next st
(3 trcr in 2nd to last st)
(basically 4trcr into one, skip one, sc, skip one, 4 trcr. repeat)
sc into last stitch.
(example of the two different stitches)
ch2, sc into 1st tc, ch 2 sc into 2nd sc and so on..
ch2 and sc into next stitch all the way across.
You could instead ch 3 at this step for a slightly larger
loop and a more exaggerated lacey version.
At this point there are any number of ways to finish your cuff.
Complete the row then tie off end and use the little tail to tie down a few rows to make a button hole. (optional)
You can add ribbon by weaving through the bigger loops--bring the ribbon through the 'button hole' and lace it through the two ends to bring them together (as above):
You could make loops with a ribbon and sew the buttons on.
Or...You could use the tail from the very beginning and sew the two ends together:
Use your own creativity here and make it your own!
